UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
Two workshops are being offered in collaboration with Julie Maltby, Creative Grief Coach and Thanatologist from The Loss Art , that provide a unique approach to working with the loss experience. You will tap into your innate creativity to honour your loss from a place of love and joy rather than suffering. By embracing creativity, we learn to find more ease in our everyday living and to engage in the life again after loss. In the March workshop, you will be offered a mini-coaching session based on the "re-membering conversation" method. Using this technique, we aim to help you find a place for your person to be in your life in a loving way, where you can hold close the memories you cherish. The creative activity that follows will help you process and celebrate what is revealed during the conversation. Please keep in mind, it's about the process not the product - this is your personal expression. In the April workshop, Julie will guide the group to imagine a fulfilling future that incorporates the love, values and lessons from your loved one who has died. In keeping with the philosphy of The Loss Art - where you design your unique grief experience like a work of art - you choose how you illustrate your reimagined future. You may wish to write, collage or use a combination of these techniques. A collection of creative materials will be available to you.
